Why no colors in codes?

there is only black in the codes, I am wondering how to colorize codes.

syntax highlighting for the most common languages should be available and enabled. i think it always depends on the file-extension.

what programming language do you want to use? can you see if syntax highlighting files are availableb in microsofts vscode-repo? maybe you can import them and make a PR? that would be awesome.
