Using Spells for Rogues

First off, I really appreciate all of the work that you do. Now to the topic: I would like to create a template for Rogues using spells. I am able to do so with other classes; however, it does not work when I try to create a template using spells for my rogue. Any thoughts?

Cause it’s definitely achievable. It isn’t a case of just throwing the spell book into actions and hoping something works. It does need to be deliberate about the generating of combo points and then spending them.

Understood, I have been using GSE for a while. When I try to create a template using spells versus macros as an option, they do not save, or the compiled template does not show the spells. I have tried drag and dropping the spell into the spell input area, but to no avail. I noticed this morning that I was unable to do the same for my Frost DK although I have created on for my UH DK.

If you are using spell blocks everything has to be perfect 100% of the time so no changing talents or specialisation. I wouldnt be using spell blocks at all. They were a fallback in case Blizzard didn’t give us back kacrotext and due to there extreme limitations (no area of effect spells, no tolerance for different talents/spec etc) it is a mode that doesn’t have a future and will be removed from the mod.

I see. I have been using a macro (SCG hunter) that I really like because there is a macro that I can put into my action bar that "calls" the GSE template. I use a Logitech mouse that toggles the macros on and off. Having the macro on the action bar allows me to see when the toggle is on because the button is highlighted. I am assuming that the the GSE template has to use "spells" versus macros to function, but I will try to write a macro template to see if that works as well.

Because a macro can’t click another macro.
