Settings keep reverting to defaults

Hey, I've been using this extension for a while now, but one thing that bugs me is that every now and then, without any apparent reason, the settings revert to their defaults. I have the settings set so that the extension only blocks video on music.youtube.com, and shows the thumbnail of the video instead of the extension's logo. However, the extension periodically sets it so that all video and thumbnails are blocked, on youtube.com as well.

I use the extension on Vivaldi and this has been going on for quite a few months now. It continues to happen as I made the switch from Windows to Linux.

Please let me know what other specifics I should include, as I'm not sure what's relevant.

Thank you for the report. I will take a look at this issue. Can you tell me when was the last time that this happened? Because, it probably resets the options every time that there is a new version of the extension.

I figured that's what it was, but it happened yesterday and again today, whereas the Google extensions store does not report any updates since May 23rd... but perhaps there's a flaw in my reasoning there? I also think it may have happened a third time since then as well, but I cannot be sure, nor whether that time it was on May 23rd.

I believe it happens wherever it gets updated, but it seems to be happening a lot recently so I'm not sure.

Could this get fixed somehow? it's starting to get annoying having to go through the options all again every time it resets.."
