I am up to translate latest reports to polish. I can do this by translating just reports folder and create another branch with polish translation. In the other hand how do You think about creating yml or something files and push all texts strings into and create polish/english version in config file? Would be that useful to transitime ?Then You can add other languages translation into yml files. I want to do this in couple next days, so any feedback will be useful.

A config file for languages would be useful. What format would you suggest?

@PaCiOr I understand you have done some work on this. Could you add a short update here?

In main/resources there are langugae config files. There are symbols and names. each file corresponds to each language. For polish, you need to use native2ascii java tool to convert to utf-8. In jsp it's translated by importing fmt library. for example in includes.jsp section. Then by using fmt. Still the issue is where is hybrid language - jsp and javascript - i need there to find out how to connect translation into simple javascript string wrapped with jsp. That problem exist with some reports.

Hi,

Yesterday I took a look into this, in order to add Spanish language. I found the resources folder. That's great, it was very easy to have a property file in Spanish.

I don't know how is going with js issue you mention. Any way, just in case, in order to pass some labels to js (I haven't use it in jsp, but we initialize some js variables with the session language) , you can build a small js script inside the jsp and define there the labels. After that you import the main js and use the labels.

About tool tips, I did not see any translation, did I miss something?

I will take a look about the behaviour of jsp and Spanish with UTF-8. It should not be any issues. We have had some issues converting, but usually is because of a mismatch among the file characterset, the web servers characterset and the html headers.

Best regards
Vicente
