Description
Hi,
I am currently using energy2shelly to convert the power readings of a hichi into a format usable for the marstek venus e 3.0.
I would like to discuss if the approach is valid and then update the documentation.
So what I did:
- use "HTTP" as data source, provide hichi URL
- Shelly UDP port 1010
- I have firmware v147 marstek venus e 3.0
- use "TRIPHASE" as Total power JSON path
- provided the Phase 1 power JSON path StatusSNS.reader.Power_curr
- Phase 2 power JSON path: 0.001
- Phase 3 power JSON path: -0.001
In the marstek app I choose:
- Shelly Pro 3EM
- and "Dreiphasen-Summe" or translated 3-phase sum
- modi "Eigenverbrauch" or translated maybe "self consum"
It looks as if it works! I will observe for some time. Do you see any drawbacks?
What did not work:
- Using mqtt as data input. The hichi sends the data to a mosquitto instance and I first tried to use that as data source. The additional delay resulted in a wildly oscillating behaviour.
- using the single phase Energy.Power in "Total power JSON path". The marstek app diagnosed something and was not happy.
