Hi,

I am currently using energy2shelly to convert the power readings of a hichi into a format usable for the marstek venus e 3.0.
I would like to discuss if the approach is valid and then update the documentation.

So what I did:

  • use "HTTP" as data source, provide hichi URL
  • Shelly UDP port 1010
  • I have firmware v147 marstek venus e 3.0
  • use "TRIPHASE" as Total power JSON path
  • provided the Phase 1 power JSON path StatusSNS.reader.Power_curr
  • Phase 2 power JSON path: 0.001
  • Phase 3 power JSON path: -0.001

In the marstek app I choose:

  • Shelly Pro 3EM
  • and "Dreiphasen-Summe" or translated 3-phase sum
  • modi "Eigenverbrauch" or translated maybe "self consum"

It looks as if it works! I will observe for some time. Do you see any drawbacks?

What did not work:

  • Using mqtt as data input. The hichi sends the data to a mosquitto instance and I first tried to use that as data source. The additional delay resulted in a wildly oscillating behaviour.
  • using the single phase Energy.Power in "Total power JSON path". The marstek app diagnosed something and was not happy.
