Crafting a resume can be daunting to users. After spending months possibly even years going through the curriculum and building connections the last thing we want to battle is a poor resume. I propose we have a small lesson that outlines some basics to resume creation as well as utilizing this resource How to get a job directly from a hiring manager who gives great advice both how to craft a resume, what hiring managers are looking for, and other details which may be useful.

I am specifically referencing the resume template and guide section.

Nice find! I think this is a great idea. We have a Building Your Resume project thats pretty light on details. Maybe we could expand/rewrite it to include some actionable steps, and add that resource?

I can't believe I missed this! But yes I think that would be a great idea!

This would give students an inside look into the mind of a recruiter, specifically one that doesn't have a background in the tech industry outside of recruiting for those positions.

I missed it when looking at the course page too, it doesn't stand out enough - probably a UX issue there 🙈
I only found it by googling "the odin project resume" lol.

But agreed! I think that perspective would be really valuable.
