Elephants stopped working

My elephants were working fine at first, but now they seem to be stuck not doing anything. They still respond to holding peanuts, and I can make them sit/stand, but they won't do their normal behavior of going to water, spraying plants etc., they just stand still when left alone. Weirdly it does play the start of the water-sucking animation when I make them stand up, but nothing further happens from there.

I'm playing on version 1.19.2, using mod version 1.4.4. I'm also playing on a server using the AQM2 modpack.

I have also been seeing this issue, it seems to me at least that it occurs mostly with domestication innovation installed alongside sprout. Though I have noticed some issues getting the elephants to water with just sprout and its dependencies (though they seem to kick back into expected behaviour rather quickly instead of just sitting there after drinking.
