Казкар includes a custom enclosure designed in LightBurn and cut from 3.0 mm MDF board.
The enclosure is not just cosmetic. It is a central part of the project concept: turning a breadboard audio player into a listening-first object that feels intentional and child-friendly.
The enclosure was intentionally styled as a small antique radio.
That was part of the project idea. The build was meant to echo an older listening culture while still using modern conveniences like microSD storage and USB power. The goal was to make the device feel like something dedicated to sound, not like a development board in a box.

These are enclosure / fabrication files, not electronics schematic files.
The front face uses a deliberately simple composition:
- speaker at the top
- red play/pause button centered below the speaker
- white previous button at lower left
- green next button at lower right
That layout reinforces the intended experience: story playback through touch and listening, not through menus or a screen.
For this project, enclosure work is part of the engineering milestone.
A breadboard proves the logic works.
An enclosure proves that the firmware, controls, speaker placement, and form factor can become a usable object.
Possible future enclosure improvements:
- cleaner internal mounting strategy
- easier service access
- more deliberate integration with a future PCB or perfboard version
