Source release has changed checksum

The checksum (and therefore content) of the released file https://github.com/TALP-UPC/FreeLing/releases/download/4.2/FreeLing-src-4.2.tar.gz has changed. The SHA256 checksum was recorded as ef0eac3c82b1d1eb6b87094043c744f6517b3bd639415040eaa6e1e6b298d425 on 2020-08-01. A download now gives the checksum f96afbdb000d7375426644fb2f25baff9a63136dddce6551ea0fd20059bfce3b

This prevents the software to be installed by Homebrew, which checks the source checksums against known values. Can you confirm that is intended behaviour, and not malicious substitution of the file?
