openapi.json needs to be updated, generates errors.

The openapi spec needs to be updated with the current models and validated with generators for clients and servers. Where is code/process for doing this?
The current spec (in public/doc) produces errors on generation; Required properties not defined & --skip-validate-spec required to avoid the generator crashing.
