can stand on IsTrigger collision somehow #8

I was tasked with fixing a buggy project, and among the issues was that Trigger Colliders could be walked on. after hours of tearing things apart, I found that UdonPlayerPlatformHook was configured with the layer mask "Default, Environment". somehow, this causes the player to sometimes??? collide with Trigger colliders on a PlatformHook-affected (ie:Default) layer????? somehow.

I'm just happy to finally have gotten to the bottom of this weird bug that's been plaguing us for a while.

I don't know if/how you'll use this information, but there's no harm in sharing.
