WWWOpoly

Welcome to WWWOpoly — a web-based monopoly-inspired game where users can "own" and trade websites, earn points, and collect tolls from visitors. Compete with others, upgrade your properties, and aim for the top of the leaderboard!

Game Mechanics

  • Own Websites: Players can claim websites and earn credits when other users visit their properties.
  • Upgrades: Level up your sites to increase tolls and earn more credits.
  • Daily Missions: Complete missions to earn rewards and boost your standings.
  • Leaderboard: Compete across multiple leaderboards, such as "Most Sites Owned," "Biggest Balance," and more.

Features

  • User Registration: Sign up and start playing to claim your share of the internet.
  • Site Claiming and Upgrades: Spend credits to claim new links and upgrade existing ones.
  • Trading: Trade properties with other players for mutual benefits.
  • Global Economy: Dynamic multipliers affect tolls based on in-game events and daily factors.
  • Achievements: Earn badges and rewards for milestones, like sites owned, credits spent, and upgrades.

Setup and Installation

  1. Clone the Repository
    git clone https://github.com/your-username/WWWOpoly.git
    cd WWWOpoly
  2. Start messing with the API endpoints (Thunderbird or Postman works well!)
  3. I'll get a UI put together within the next 3-12 months so monitor the project
