Can any one help regarding how to change the waveguide width?

Hello everyone, can anyone please help me like how to change the width of the waveguide. For example, when pressing 'w' for converting the path to waveguide, the waveguide width by default becomes 500nm, despite of change the width in the option. Can anyone please help me to sort this issue?
