It depends on Google (or Android device manufacturers), but Google can’t use the FaceID name for such a feature because it is patented by Apple.

Currently, Android doesn’t provide the ability to check what type of biometric authentication is available on the device, so it always returns Biometrics.

@ivan-findo Your correct. Even if you set FaceID in android user must set PIN or Pattern before setting FaceID. So, its depends on OEM. The sensor method not recognize the security type FaceID. It always return Biometrics.
