I'm new to this, so I have had to do some learning as I make it.
Two things that would have been handy to know:

• The small controller board that comes packed with the seeed studio kit needs to be mains powered, it won't just work from USB. If you aren't seeing the servos come up when you plug into PC, make sure that the power cable that comes to the kit has the contacts screwed in to the board.
• The servos all come with an ID of 1, so if you plug in a finger (2 of them) and only see one ID turn up (ID of 1) in the software it may just be that both servos are under the same ID. If you plug one of the servos in at a time you should be able to change their ID and then you will see both show up when both are plugged in.
