There seems to be an issue with the I2S firmware update process. I tried updating from 1.0.9 to 1.1.0 but the board won't update:

This is what i did. But after flashing the Chip still reports the previous firmware (1.0.9)

Exacly same story. I am trying to upgrade, no error, but list shows previous version. Any idea how to solve this issue, because buying new boarch each time when I want to upgrade firmware is a bad solution.

Hi, I'm having trouble uploading from the arduino IDE. I see the following for any program:

Sketch uses 281619 bytes (8%) of program storage space. Maximum is 3342336 bytes.
Global variables use 20344 bytes (6%) of dynamic memory, leaving 307336 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 327680 bytes.

A fatal error occurred: Could not open 0-1, the port is busy or doesn't exist.
([Errno 2] could not open port 0-1: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '0-1')

Hint: Check if the port is correct and ESP connected

Serial port 0-1:
Failed uploading: uploading error: exit status 2

It seems like arduino ide is not auto-detecting the board. Instead I am manually selection XIAO_ESP32S3 and assigning it to USB 0-1. Please help!

The repository link in the document was outdated. The correct one is:
https://github.com/respeaker/respeaker_arduino_library.git

You can simply replace the URL in the git clone command with this link. We’ve also updated the documentation to fix this issue.
