New Engine for Site that affects Translation! nkdAgility/HugoGuides v0.7.2

Hey all, I built the first version of this engine against ScrumGuide‑ExpansionPack and then significantly updated it on [KanbanGuides. I’ve now moved it to a generic module at nkdAgility/HugoGuides.

I’ve already transitioned https://safedelusion.com/ and https://kanbanguides.org/ to this new module, which provides a list of guides with support for:

• Multi‑language translations – You can translate the site wrapper and each guide independently. The translations page shows what’s available, and each translated guide/history page lists the full set of languages. Translation drafts and previews are supported so teams can review work‑in‑progress translations before they go live.
• Version history & forks – Each guide can have multiple versions (e.g. 2025.5, 2025.7) and even forks of other guides. The history page builds a timeline showing current and previous versions along with any fork chains, so readers can see how a guide evolved over time.
• PDF downloads – Each guide version can publish PDF downloads for different languages. If a PDF is missing, a “PDF not available” message is shown. Download links are tracked so you know what’s being downloaded.
• Flexible branding & metadata – Colours, logos, licences, discussion URLs and other metadata are configurable per guide. You can also define purpose descriptions, audience notes and quick‑decision summaries in the front‑matter.

• Pull the latest changes once merged - If you are still working on a translation, please pull the latest changes. The files should “move” into their new locations under site\content\scrum-guide-expansion-pack\2025.6, and I’ve done my best to massage all of your existing files into this new format.
• Check your translations (I generated the translations for the new table entries, which I will list below)

1. For any issues in site/content and site\i18n fix them in your branch for your language and submit a PR
2. For any issues that relate to structure raise any bugs that you find on https://github.com/nkdAgility/HugoGuides/issues

2. Is the role field typed? Can we use 'reviewer'?
3. How does the weight field works? Do we need to specify the order (1,2,3...) or just set a bigger weight for translators (e.g. 1) and lower for reviewers?

Can we skip the githubUsername?

Yes! Its where the pictire comes from.

Is the role field typed? Can we use 'reviewer'?

Its just text, so reviewer works and its the intent to use "Translator" and "Reviewer"

How does the weight field works? Do we need to specify the order (1,2,3...) or just set a bigger weight for translators (e.g. 1) and lower for reviewers?

Weight is for ordering. Bigger numbers drop to the bottom of lists...
