Which Ethics? Questioning Ethical Assumptions in the Expansion Pack #155
-
|
While translating the Expansion Pack, I repeatedly encountered words like “ethics” and “ethical.” A critical question came to mind: when you refer to ethics, which ethical system are you applying to Scrum? As you may know, various ethical frameworks attempt to define what constitutes ethical behavior—some are compatible, while others directly contradict one another. In practice, these judgments often depend on individual or cultural perspectives. To my knowledge, there is no universally accepted ethical system across cultures. That makes the use of “ethics” in the pack somewhat vague. And vague concepts are difficult to apply in practice. That’s why I raised the question—to seek clarity. |
