Once active after 2025-04-16, they will have 7 days to enable two-factor authentication before their access will be restricted.

OK, I'm still having trouble enabling 2fa, but at least I regained access to my account by contacting GitHub support. Unfortunately, I am still barred from accessing the coding hut repro. I am trying to use the SMS thing you described, but I think it's sending me the wrong code because it says that it is invalid.
