ChatGPT settings and gpt-4

I was able to get things up and running using Azure OpenAI. This is a great project!

I was wondering if the program can use the ChatGPT API directly right now or if you can only use it through Azure OpenAI?

I used gpt-3 and everything worked. I switched from gpt-3 to gpt-4 and got the error:
System.NullReferenceException: 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.'
BotSharp.Plugin.AzureOpenAI.Settings.AzureOpenAiSettings.GPT4.get returned null.

Is gpt-4 not implemented yet?

Azure Chat GPT-4 defintely has been implemted as long as you have the correct configuration.
Through this source code line we need the model deployment name must contains gpt4 or gpt-4 words.
And making sure the GPT4 endpoint and key is configured as well.

This design is not very friendly, I think it can be improved.

Ok, I see. I needed to add those settings into the appsettings.json file.

From:

Correct, and the model name should contains 'gpt4orgpt-4`.
