As you can probably tell, this project is still in a very early stage and nowhere near a low-level kernel implementation. At the moment, I am just prototyping different TrueForce behaviors. However, it is already working with high-level access via Python.

For your use case, there are still a couple of obstacles to tackle:

First of all, as already mentioned, this project is far from being a functional kernel driver, but I am planning to eventually reach that goal.

Currently, I am focusing on the Logitech RS50 (since that is the wheel I own), not the G923. However, if I am happy with the results on the RS50, I can extend support to more wheels. I am fairly sure that it would not be too difficult to implement it yourself based on the RS50 foundation in this repository. If you would like, you can also upload some wheel captures using G Hub, as that is essentially required for implementing TrueForce. Probably the biggest challenge is hooking the driver into the games you want to play, especially if they are running through Wine/Proton. I currently have no clear solution for this. My best idea so far would be to write a mod for each game that communicates with the driver.

Well yeah you know, ever since i got this steering wheel wondered how much would have taken to reverse engineer that effect. Of course I understand that it is just a proof of concept and all the stack needs to be implemented, but you have to start somewhere! I'll take a look at the guide and see if I can help you port at least this other device to your sdk!
