Add drag handles you can use without a multi-touch device

Or alternative suggestion from @uveavanto: select and then use mousewheel to size up/down.
Disadvantage: less intuitive, if you don't know the functionality is there
Advantages: easier to implement and won't introduce fiddly drag handles on small screens
