Rule34.lol support

Im not a programmer or coder at all. I used chatgpt to help me get this far. Please dont be mad at me im genuinely just trying my best to get this website supported.

i added the json file so you can see what i have so far.
Everything works so far except videos
mp4 and webm files just simply refuse to load.
chatgpt is telling me its a problem with how rule34.lol's api is written. they use some unusual syntax or whatever.

Im just passing this along cause i know youll figure it out before i do.
But i am learning. Im trying not to depend on ai but its also a lot and im sure you have years of experience in this.

No worries, you should not need to be a developer to use my app ^^.
I'll definitly try to give you a valid json, but at the moment I am not able to determine if the problem is caused by Booru-Studio or rule34.lol...

I can currently not reach the site, to do checks on it's api, but from what i can see you need to use a api key with the website. Have you tried setting up a account on that site and using it's api key in the booru settings?

I did change the config to have api key set up in it. Nothing changed though. Everything else still loads except the videos. Another thing i noticed is that "certain" tags dont populate when searching for them despite having an api key. I do know on the site they have a switch on their website and i wonder if thats breaking something.

I did some testing myself, but from what I can see, it will be difficult to tackle the issues with rule34.lol.

The API doesn’t provide any thumbnails of the image format for video posts, so Booru-Studio fails to display anything.
I also noticed that the artists are nested within the regular tags, and that no actual low-quality versions are provided for any post.

So sadly, it’s currently not possible to make rule34.lol fully work with Booru Studio. To make it possible in the future, I’ll add it to my todos :)
