This is Run AI Scientist-v2 Paper Generation Experiments Section

I got this error after run this command:

This is the error:

For the model, I am using Claude Models via AWS Bedrock. And in the bfts_config.yaml file, i have also changed the model from model: gpt-4o-2024-11-20 to bedrock/anthropic.claude-3-5-sonnet-<....>-v1:0

And as a result, I get nothing in experiments/"timestamp_ideaname"/logs/0-run/

Its role is use _client to run function chat.completions.create,when meet the error in OPENAI_TIMEOUT_EXCEPTIONS,it backoff and try again.When I cancel the openai.APIConnectionError in OPENAI_TIMEOUT_EXCEPTIONS,it will directly put openai.APIConnectionError.
BUT I have on idea how to fix it.

I have fix it.IN MY CODE,I use the OPENAI API from other url,but in ai_scientist/treesearch/backend/backend_openai.py,it creates an OPENAI example without appointing url.As a result,it uses default url,so I can't connect to OPENAI.I wish this can help you.

For cases where the Anthropic model is used, please temporarily comment out the ANTHROPIC_TIMEOUT_EXCEPTIONS in the backend_anthropic.py file, disable automatic retries, and raise exceptions instead.
This will prevent masking error information and provide more detailed messages to help you troubleshoot the issue.

I have removed the dependency on the OpenAI API for both node_selection and node_summarization at #68
This change enables users to switch between models simply by modifying the configuration file.
