        <h2>1. Acceptance of Terms</h2>
        <p>By downloading, installing, or using Sereni ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.</p>

        <h2>2. Description of Service</h2>
        <p>Sereni is a mindful breathing assistant mobile application designed to help users practice breathing exercises through guided sessions, visual themes, and audio cues. The App operates entirely offline and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.</p>

        <h2>3. License</h2>
        <p>We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.</p>

        <h3>You May:</h3>
        <ul>
            <li>Install and use the App on devices you own or control</li>
            <li>Practice breathing exercises and use all features for personal wellness</li>
            <li>Create multiple user profiles for personal use</li>
        </ul>

        <h3>You May Not:</h3>
        <ul>
            <li>Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App</li>
            <li>Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices from the App</li>
            <li>Use the App for any commercial purposes without prior written consent</li>
            <li>Distribute, sublicense, or sell copies of the App</li>
        </ul>

        <h2>4. User Responsibilities</h2>
        <h3>Health and Safety</h3>
        <ul>
            <li><strong>Not Medical Advice:</strong> Sereni is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.</li>
            <li><strong>Consult a Professional:</strong> If you have any medical conditions (including respiratory issues, anxiety disorders, or cardiovascular conditions), consult a healthcare professional before using the App.</li>
            <li><strong>Stop If Uncomfortable:</strong> If you experience dizziness, shortness of breath, chest pain, or any discomfort while using the App, stop immediately and seek medical attention if necessary.</li>
            <li><strong>Personal Responsibility:</strong> You use the App at your own risk. We are not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from your use of the App.</li>
        </ul>

        <h3>Age Restrictions</h3>
        <p>The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.</p>

        <h2>5. Data and Privacy</h2>
        <h3>Local Storage Only</h3>
        <p>All data generated by your use of the App (including session history, preferences, and profile information) is stored <strong>exclusively on your device</strong>. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your personal data.</p>

        <h3>Your Data, Your Control</h3>
        <ul>
            <li>You have full control over your data</li>
            <li>You can delete your data at any time by uninstalling the App or resetting within the App settings</li>
            <li>Data is not backed up to external servers</li>
            <li>Data is not shared with third parties</li>

        <h2>6. Intellectual Property</h2>
        <p>All content in the App, including software code, user interface designs, visual themes, audio content, text, graphics, and icons, is owned by or licensed to Sereni and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.</p>

        <h3>Third-Party Assets</h3>
        <ul>
            <li><strong>Open Source Libraries:</strong> Various open-source software libraries (React, Capacitor, Framer Motion, etc.) used under their respective licenses.</li>
        </ul>

        <h2>7. Disclaimer of Warranties</h2>
        <p>THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:</p>

            <li>Warranties of merchantability</li>
            <li>Fitness for a particular purpose</li>
            <li>Non-infringement</li>
            <li>Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content</li>
            <li>Uninterrupted or error-free operation</li>

        <h2>8. Limitation of Liability</h2>
        <p>TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SERENI, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR:</p>

            <li>Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages</li>
            <li>Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use</li>
            <li>Personal injury or property damage</li>
            <li>Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App</li>
        </ul>

        <h2>9. Updates and Modifications</h2>
        <p>We may update the App from time to time to add new features, fix bugs, improve performance, and enhance security. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time without prior notice.</p>

        <h2>10. Termination</h2>
        <p>These Terms remain in effect until terminated by either you or us.</p>

        <h3>You May Terminate by:</h3>
        <ul>
            <li>Uninstalling the App from your device</li>
            <li>Discontinuing use of the App</li>
        </ul>

        <h2>11. Governing Law</h2>
        <p>These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.</p>
