No fans showing at all , ( used to work perfectly for ages )

Just booted my PC to find no fans are been detected , ( only GPU is showing )
iv tried resetting the soft ware , even reinstalling it , but still nothing , am at a loss here , can anyone help with this issues please

I'm having the same issue. Worked yesterday and boot up today to it not working.

yeah I checked the github myself personally because of defender saying fancontrol was a trojan/ obv the most recent windows update ig why is it only flagging mine tho? other ppl seem to be having issues at the same time but not the same outcome/problem idk how much people generally have issues maybe there is always a small amount who do

Strangely it works on fresh install of w11 ( a day old new pc build)
But doesn't work on that's a few months old,

Anyways ill wait for the fix ,
Its a cracking bit of software and can't to carry on using it 😀

To add from post above . new PC has now failed , and showing no fans at all ....

Added the folder as an exclusion and it now works again.

Fix
uninstalled with Revo uninstaller ,
reinstalled , widows picks it up as trojan , allow this within window defender , history find the threat and Allow ,

closes Fan control and restart as Administer and do a new set up and it should work ..
