I expect to be able to use the beacon_api or a subset maybe 1 call by the first PR

I expect implementing these calls will require a lot more work then just adding X endpoint, any calls added should be fully functional

In retrospect, this should be a macro task. Creating sub-issues will help with more clear requirements and better scope
