Sonoff 4CH Pro R3 - Upload works - Homekit add works - but.. no relays or LEDs

Having a strange one here..

Have flashed many Sonoff basics and TH modules previously (with total success in various configurations).

1st time trying with a 4CH Pro R3..

Have flashed the device ok
Have configured the device ok
Have added to Apple HomeKit ok

but...

relays are not physically responding - they show as working in the HOME app and also in HAA

Have tried running with 230v, 12v and USB power - same result

There are also no LEDs showing at all and the buttons don't appear to be configured

Help !
