For scala JS, there seems to be a strong argument to switch to webassembly (for the numeric speedup). I'm not sure though, how to plug into a webassembly BLAS implementation. As I understand it right now, webassembly can't cross module boundaries, which means I'd have to write it myself, and I want to avoid writing matrix multiplications myself
