Enhancement Request: Multiple appointment selection

It would be nice in the calendar to be able to select multiple appointments 
(via a control-click modifier or the like.)  This would allow commands to 
operate against multiple appointments at once.

In our code, we have a menu that lets users perform operations on the 
"selected" item(s).  These include delete, purge, share, copy, move, subscribe 
as well as others.  It would be nice to support these operations against 
multiple appointments at once rather than having to perform them one at a time.
