You grant to the Project maintainers and to recipients of software distributed by the Project a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute your Contributions and such derivative works.
You grant to the Project maintainers and to recipients of software distributed by the Project a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Contribution, where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable by you that are necessarily infringed by your Contribution alone or by combination of your Contribution with the Project.
You represent that:
- Each Contribution is your original creation.
- You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
- Your Contribution does not violate any third party's intellectual property rights.
You understand that the decision to include your Contribution in the Project is entirely at the discretion of the Project maintainers.
You acknowledge that the Project maintainers may, in the future, offer the Project under different license terms (including commercial licenses) in addition to the current open-source license (Apache-2.0). Your Contributions may be included under such alternative licenses.
