Can someone please ELI5? I'm at my wit's end :(

Hi all,
sorry for a very stupid question. I've been reading everywhere for hours but got only more and more confused.
I have HA fully operational controlling almost every part of my house, except the damned alarm system fro Paradox. I have a 5050 or 5050+ panel, touch screen keypads inside (nothing outside though, must use the app to get in), motion sensors inside and ouside, door/window sensors, and a siren, I don't know any kind of spec. What should I exactly do to tie it in fully with HA? The "connection" pages and compatibility stuff are a bit hard to read, i don't know where to read fw versions installed, where to find an old IP150 interface or what I can do on my own and what requires an installer (which I'd glagly avoid, such a lazy guy!!!), I clearly understood that later fw version don't work and upgrades must be blocked. But I'm at a total loss when terms such as SWAN (I get it's paradox cloud?), Babyware (is it an app like the Blueye one I have on my phone?), inside gold, in-field and whatever are mentioned... :( can someone please explain the documentation to me and how to apply it to my use case with simple steps tailored to my situation?
Please be patient - electrical diagrams and stuff are not my field, and the documentation is a bit obscure for me with no technical background in the field...
