gnome-shell/xwayland: drag and drop action freezes all touch input #107

Triggering a drag and drop action seems to stop any interaction with the screen other than pointing the mouse to stop working. Using the pen to point the cursor still works, though no hover effects (e.g. over the date in the top bar) are visible. The system, ssh etc. still work normally.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install cantata and ensure there is at least one song in the library
  2. Attempt to drag the song anywhere

Expected outcome: The drag and drop action finishes normally

Actual outcome: The shell stops reacting to inputs. The logs show pinenote gnome-shell[14715]: meta_window_unmaximize: assertion '!window->override_redirect' failed. The shell becomes responsive again once cantata is killed.

This might be unique to xwayland, as installing qtwayland5 and running cantata with cantata -platform wayland drag and drop works as expected
