[BUG]: GunCon 2 calibration stalls until the cursor is moved off-screen in Virtua Cop Re-Birth

Describe the Bug

When playing Virtua Cop Re-Birth with the GunCon 2 controller setting, the initial calibration sequence does not continue after setting the center position.
After pressing Start and pulling the trigger at the center of the screen, the display remains black indefinitely. The calibration only resumes after moving the cursor outside the display area once.
This issue occurs with both of the following versions:

• Europe: SLES-51229 (Elite Edition)
• Japan: SLPM-62205

This behavior appears to be different from the intended off-screen trigger action used to finish calibration, and is likely unintended.

Reproduction Steps

1. Launch the game with the GunCon 2 controller configuration.
2. Wait for the calibration screen.
3. Press Start.
4. Aim at the center of the screen and pull the trigger.
5. Leave the cursor in place.

Expected Behavior

The calibration should continue immediately after the center position has been set.

Actual Behavior

The screen remains black indefinitely and the calibration does not proceed.

Moving the cursor outside the display area once causes the calibration sequence to resume normally.
