In-applet online analysis selection #446
Description
I'd like to have the ability to get online fits after an experiment has been started (while it's running or afterwards) through the applets.
This would allow the user to get info on-the-fly without having to create an online analysis in the experiment script. I've made a PR with a working demonstration of what this could look like. We've been using it in our lab for about a week and we're pretty happy with it, but I realise it's a bit of a bodge and doesn't fit in very nicely with the rest of the code. So I'd be very happy to get some feedback on if this is something the maintainers would be interested in and if so, how we could make it work.
