Application

Outline Client

What are you trying to do? What is your use case?

I want to reduce clutter by being able to close the Outline window on macOS Monterey, as I can easily connect with just the selections in the menu bar

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe it.

The main issue is that when I attempt to close the outline client window, it also quits the entire outline service, as I see that the menu bar icon has also disappeared.

Describe the solution you'd like.

When the window is closed on macOS, the outline client should still stay alive in the menu bar, allowing for easy connecting and disconnecting. The window can be reopened simply by accessing the menu bar and clicking open, and basic controls should exist in the menu bar (which they already do).

Describe alternatives you've considered

The window could be minimized, however having the ability to close it completely would be even nicer.
