This is not something that can be fixed by the Snook development team as it stands just now. If this is fixable at all, it requires access to ORUK's MailChimp account. We should reach out to Porism and find out who has access to this account to see if this can be fixed. |
I've raised this in Porism's Jira system as https://porism.atlassian.net/browse/ORUK-90 (only Porism people have access) to be addressed by Porism's Nick Bryan. |
We've looked at this and believe MailChimp provides no way of addressing it. MailChimp support is limited for the free account. Snook has access to the ORUK MailChimp account, so please take a look if you wish. |
Thanks for the update Mike. I have checked here with Robyn, who I believe created the form. The account belongs to ORUK and Robyn no longer has the credentials but the documentation states Snook will share the details with Porism. @UsmanAfzal But please note Mike's comment above as well that they have looked into this and no way provided to address this. |
I can share credentials with a Snook person if you think we might have missed something. Has Snook not used a MailChimp form on any other project? If so, did Snook encounter a similar issue? |
Hello Mike,
I believe our operations team use Mailchimp. I can reach out to Robyn.
She created the form, I believe she did attempt to access it yesterday but
cannot remember the login details. If you could kindly share that with us
I can get someone to take a look at it.

@yemijaiyeola I've posted into our channels to see if we have a paid account for better support. Based on us having access and better support from Mailchimp to conclude our findings then we can base our statement on that. |

When users submit with no details provided in mandatory fields, no errors occur so users of assistive technologies are not aware of the problem and what is expected of them.
When the marketing permissions have been left out the following error messages are not announced to users so they are not aware what problem occurred and what they need to do:
