Displaying FS-CGPS01 GPS data without an FC?

Hi, i have an RC sailboat with an iX6 tx and an iA6B rx. Was thinking of adding a FS-CGPS01 GPS module. Just want to display speed and heading. Do I need an FC in the boat to do this, or can it work without one?

Hi, if the GPS module is reporting speed and heading then it will be available without any additional hardware.
