Northeastern work after Boston POC

The following are ideas for next things to do after the Boston end-to-end proof of concept is functioning. The prioritization among these can be decided when we get to that point.

• Hydrologic modeling at hourly temporal resolution - allows for choice of hyetograph
• Generalize end-to-end process to other cities (downscaling, flood modeling, urban rail network simulation)
  • Automatable data downloads
  • Automatable data processing for simulations
• Uncertainty quantification
• More accurate models

After the end-to-end pipeline is complete we will have a clearer picture of how temporal resolution may be improved, which may include hyetograph (rainfall), hydrograph (discharge), and/or spatiotemporal inundation. Among the other bullets, we will be very ready to improve the accuracy of the models based on what we've learned setting up the initial versions. Also, data processing code could be shared if useful.

Now that the Charles River POC is complete, it seems the 1st bullet (hourly hydrologic model) and last bullet (more accurate models - such as downscaler improvements, and an entirely new data-driven approach to hydrodynamic modeling) are most likely to get prioritized next. We could also consider extending the POC to Boston's other rivers.
