Final Idea : Contribute to Datavyu : A time series coding tool for human development researchers. #29
Description
In my last position, for two years I was managing the service and technical teams for the Databrary project that also developed datavyu, a video annotation tool for researchers. As the managing director, I was managing the organization, the people, the processes but never really got to contributing to the code itself. It so happened that it was open source and on github.
While the databrary project (code is in Haskell, beyond my skills for now), was clearly funded and widely popular, got most of the attention and resources, datavyu itself was starved, code and documentation wise alike. For my final project, I would like to go back and assist in fixing some bugs, cleaning some documentation and maybe add a feature etc. The code is at http://github.com/databrary/datavyu and is in Java.
