Apparently these two companies now operate bikeshare in Seattle:

Neither are currently listed in the GBFS system CSV:

I'm going to reach out to these systems and see if they have real-time APIs.

For this to go live, we'd need to work with Sound Transit and have them add real-time feed support for these vendors (hopefully via GBFS, although other formats are supported) to their OTP instance. Then, we'd set the Regions API supportsOtpBikeshare field to true for Puget Sound.

Hi, curious if this was ever moved forward. I'm a transit planner new to Python and looking for possible ways to contribute. Thanks!

@kglenn10 thanks for checking! No - IIRC we were looking for GBFS feeds in Puget Sound. When we do find them, though, this doesn't require any code changes - just editing and exporting the data from the Google Sheet.

Unfortunately there isn't a lot on the OBA app side of things in Python right now, to my knowledge. Feel free to prove me wrong though by continuing to search the OBA Github repos tough! Thanks for looking to contribute!

Thanks @barbeau . Happy to contribute in the future if something does come up! Could be something non-coding too, if data editing is needed once you get the GBFS feeds.
