Issue: Generate button returns 502 Bad Gateway
Status: ✅ FIXED
The generate button on burntbeats.com was returning a 502 Bad Gateway error when users tried to generate songs.
The service on port 8001 (burntbeats-api) was crashing repeatedly due to an import error in /home/ubuntu/app/backend/src/api/v1/health.py:
# Incorrect import (4 dots - goes beyond top-level package)
from ....api.health import router as health_routerThis caused the service to crash before it could bind to port 8001, resulting in nginx returning 502 errors when trying to proxy requests.
Fixed the import statement to use 3 dots instead of 4:
# Corrected import
from ...api.health import router as health_routerFile Modified: /home/ubuntu/app/backend/src/api/v1/health.py
- Service is now running on port 8001
- Listening on
127.0.0.1:8001 - No more crashes
- Nginx can now connect to upstream service
- Generate endpoint no longer returns 502
- Returns proper JSON responses
502 Error: ✅ RESOLVED
Service: ✅ RUNNING
Generate Endpoint: ✅ ACCESSIBLE
The generate button should now work correctly (pending model loading for actual generation).
