Describe the bug
Most recent tag noresm tag does not compile on Betzy.

• NorESM version:noresm2_5_alpha07
• HPC platform: Betzy
• Compset (if applicable): N1850
• Resolution (if applicable): ne30_tn14
• Error message (if applicable):
  CAM build-namelist - ERROR: No default value found for ncdata
  To Reproduce
  Steps to reproduce the behavior:
  1./NorESM/cime/scripts/create_newcase --case cases/N1850.ne30_tn14_checkaer2.5.20241122 --res ne30_tn14 --mach betzy --compset N1850 --run-unsupported --project nn2345k

2. ./case.setup
   3../case.build

Same create_newcase command worked for tag 2_5_alpha05 mid September.
Using the same alpha05 tag now gave the same error as above.
An equivalent version of NorESM2.3 works fine, compiles and runs (res f09_tn14)

You need to have ne30pg3_tn14 not ne30_tn14. @gold2718 - should we probably get rid of ne30 since there is no ncdata?

I think we should decide what grids will be useful and then create initial data files for those that currently do not have them (e.g., ne16np4.pg3). See #597
