Consumable items need to apply status effects to players. Likewise, some weapons should apply effects to enemy actors
We need a system to manage and apply status effects to both players and actors
To accomplish this we should probably create a sort of shadow-actor representing the player.
This way we can design the buff system to work on one type of entity
