Interesting idea. Nginx Proxy Manager is mainly designed to manage Nginx reverse-proxy configs and SSL through a simple UI, so it doesn’t really function as an outbound proxy manager by default.

That said, if the goal is to route certain upstream connections through a proxy, it might be possible using custom Nginx configs or advanced setups. Use cases like geo-based testing or even routing traffic through residential proxies for sneakers could make sense, depending on what problem you’re trying to solve.

Clarifying the exact workflow and how this would fit into NPM’s current architecture would probably help maintainers and users evaluate it more easily.
