Hi,
wouldn't it not be nice to have a toggle between FriendlyName and DeviceName, when loading the Map ?

What do you mean by FriendlyName and DeviceName?

Note: you can right-click on a node in the map, if that helps.

The attached word is a snapshot of the map when reloaded.
With DeviceName i meant "Edit description", which mostly tends to be longer than the FriendlyName... which is not elegant in Node-Red functions.
Maybe i made a mistake by assigning eg GX03 as FriendlyName and Garden Irrigation Sensor as Description, but at the time it seemed to be ok.
So it would be convenient to be able to toggle the Map between the FriendlyName and the Description.

I can imagine that it would be of general interest.

The map displays the friendly name because it's unique. The description is not uniquely identifying, it could be anything, duplicated, very long, etc..

of course, the built up must be on a key, but the display of the map could allow to toggle between them.
