Currently, write netcdf routines can write only "output" grids (i.e. gaussian, lambert, rotated latlon etc) and single file cubed sphere grid, while 6-file (multi-tile) cubed sphere files are created by using prototype version of ESMF field bundle write. Write netcdf routines should be updated to support multi-tile cubed sphere grid. This will allow the use of compression and other options (chunking) for cubed sphere files, which are currently available only for non-native output grids.
