Phase3 Validation involves running atmospheric observation types through gsi.x and gdas.x in 3DV mode.

This issue is opened to document the creation of python scripts that

  • stage data needed to run GSI or JEDI based 3DVar
  • create batch job script to run GSI or JEDI based 3DVar

GDASApp branch feature/phase3_validation contains files in ush/ufoeval to stage data for and create a script to run gsi.x and gdas.x for atmospheric 3DVar.
