PHI-base is a curated database of information about experimentally verified interactions between pathogens (bacteria, fungi, viruses, and protists) and their host organisms. PHI-base was the first online resource devoted to the identification and presentation of information on fungal and oomycete pathogenicity genes and their host interactions. The database currently has data on 264 pathogens and 185 host species.
