Can't install extensions

I am encountering an issue while attempting to install the "Cookie Editor" extension from the Chrome Web Store. The installation process begins but then fails with an error message stating that there is no internet connection. I have confirmed that my internet connection is active and stable. Could you please advise on how to resolve this?
